Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character on ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents split up to move in Los Angeles to live with her mother. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first role as Rachel's Room's main character the video on-demand series Rachel's Room in the year 2001. The role she played as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television film Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the main actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble. Grace has worked together with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, decided to make the move into film. In 2007, she starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. Her role was reprised in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
