Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who loved music. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Following her singing lessons with mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In her early career, she was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events, performing classical Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her love for music and arts. Ana was also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, that she will inspire a love, especially in the younger generations in keeping the music in the present.
